Born in Yazd in 1974, Abolfazl Saffari ( ابوالفضل صفاری ) is a graduate of Photography from Azad University. He began his collaboration with television as producer and director in 1994. His documentaries include TOWARD THE PURE WATERS (1994), DREAMING THE DIAMONDS (1996 – winner of best film in the 4th Iranian TV Festival, best film in Festival of Islamic Countries’ Productions and best cinematography in Kish Documentary Film Festival), PERSIAN GULF (1999), OIL AND THE SEA (2000 – winner of best
