Born in Isfahan in 1961, Abolghasem Talebi is a graduate of law. He is the manager and editor of the weekly magazine "Cinema & Video". In early 1990’s he made his first 16 mm short film titled THE GUILTY AND BY WHY SO CARELESS?. In 1995, he wrote and directed his first feature, THE DEVASTATOR. Naghme is about that Mahmoud, a computer engineer and chemically poisoned veteran, is diagnosed with cancer, and although he loves his wife Naghmeh dearly, he wants a divorce because of his disease. Shiva was conducting a research on esoteric love and she was in court in search of subjects for her research. After she finds out that Naghmeh is a professor of literature at the university, her bond with them becomes closer.
