Amir-Shahab Razavian ( امیرشهاب رضویان ) was born in 1965 in Hamadan. He is an Iranian filmmaker and producer. He began his cinematic activities at Hamedan Amateur Filmmaking Centre in 1980. He obtained his degree in film directing from College of Theatre and Cinema of Art University in 1990. Since then he has produced seventy short films, directed thirty documentary and short films, and three feature films.

Journey of the Grey Men is about that Agha Bahman, who is an old man from Birjand and a Dutar player, goes Tehran to see his old friends Esfandiar and Agha Javad. He finds Esfandiar in a theater selling tickets and Agha Javad who suffers from heart failure is working in a greenhouse. While remembering the past, Agha Bahman offers them to go Birjand in order to perform a puppetry. They board on an old Chevrolet which they have bought forty years ago heading Birjand, where they had met each other and have began the puppetry forty years ago. They go on a road which they have gone through it forty years ago heading Tehran. In the road, they pass several cities such as Firzoukouh, Babol, Gorgan and Mashhad and perform some puppetry in their path to provide for their costs. After several days, they arrive at Birjand, and when they are going to perform the puppetry, Esfandiar confesses that he has loved Bahman's sister and has decided to leave Birjand forever once he has found out that his sister had married another guy. Agha bahman and Agha Javad are moved by the story. They perform a successful puppetry in which one of the audience is Bahman's sister who is now an old widow. That night, Agha Javad dies and after he is buried, Agha Bahman insists Esfandiar to remain in Birjand, but he returns Tehran with his old Chevrolet.
