The Penalty is about that A group of war refugees who have lost all they have through enemy attacks are inhabitants of an inactive industrial region belonging to the oil company. Now, twenty years after the war, the company is going to make this region active again so they should leave the place after two years from now. But they are poor and have no money to provide another place of living. At the same time, the youth play football on a piece of land irrespective of the problems and concerns their parents have. The engineer in charge who is from Abadan, sees their enthusiasm for football and thinks of making a team and participating in the formal matches being held by the oil company in order to use the legal rights of having some organizational residences by players and their families. Breath is about that From the brilliantly multi-talented Narges Abyar comes her third feature film ‘Breath’, a bittersweet family drama set against the backdrop of the Iranian revolution and the ensuing Iran-Iraq war.
