It also touches on the relation between real flowers and the symbolic power of their imaginative representations, and reflects upon the use of flowers in shrines. A group of civil engineers have donated and supported the project to construct a dormitory with facilities for parents of sick children who accompany them from villages around to a centre of cancer treatment and chemotherapy in Orumiyeh. Is Maryam simply delusional, or has she really uncovered something shocking? ‘Me, Rear Window and Hitch’ is a thrilling short film, which plays the original ‘Psycho’ theme song throughout, to heighten to the suspense.
