Farid Mostafavi ( فرید مصطفوی ) is a screenwriter born on the 27 October 1954 in Tehran, Iran. He studied Economics at Tehran University and joined the Institute of Cinema and Television in 1979. He has a long career in both TV and cinema and is known for 'Under the City's Skin' (2001), 'Birthplace' (2009) and 'Mainline' (Khoon bazi) (2006), which received Crystal Simorgh awards at the Fajr Film Festival.
