Talking with a Shadow is about that D ...ocudrama about the works of Sadegh Hedayat, acclaimed Iranian writer, poet and intellectual, focusing on the resounding influence of Western culture in his life. As the benevolent shadow of Sadegh walks us through growing up in Tehran, his fascination with movies like 'Nosferatu' and 'Dracula', his later writings and battles with censorship, we are treated to an intimate insight into one of the most prolific literary minds of the twentieth century.
