You are Waiting is about that Mohsen is a rich man who went bankrupt in a deal and borrowed some money from an old woman named Nobar to fix his home business. His nine-year-old son Nariman receives a camera from the school parents as a prize and after that he takes pictures of people around him with a donated camera. One day, Nariman witnesses that a thief with the alias of Engineer Taimur goes to the house of an old woman who is falling down, and after a fight, he strangles her and steals some of the old woman's valuables. Nariman accidentally took some photos of the thief during the murder. There is a rumor in the place that Mohsen killed the old woman. On the one hand, Mohsen is wanted by the police chief and on the other hand, he is under the pressure of Jabar Nazul-Khar, who lives with his daughter. Taimur's engineer goes to propose to the girl, and on the day of the wedding ceremony, Nariman, who is chasing Taimur everywhere, informs his father, and traps Taimur in the police trap, and with the photos of Taimur committing murder.
