History Makers is about that A theater actor is arrested accused of contesting against the Shah's regime. When he is in jail, his wife dies and his child is killed. When he is released from prison, he decides to continue his artistic and political life. With the help of his friends, including an engineer working in a brickwork, an officer with a wounded leg due to torture selling cigarettes and a worker, he gains some documents against the government and they try to reveal them while they are performing a theater. Footprints on Sand is about that Set during the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Persia, a group of Russian soldiers stop at a small village for water. A House Like a City is about that Javaad is the eldest son of his family, and regardless of his mother's objections, heads to the city to know more about the shootings. When no one hears from him until the next day's afternoon, the father also goes to the city in order to find his son. There he finds a tumbled city, all devastated and ruined. There have been battles and a group of people are injured, and amongst them is Javaad who's also been shot. Seyyed Hamzeh comes back home after meeting him, not knowing how to inform Javaad's family about him being wounded. But he faces something unexpected as soon as he gets home....
