Homayoun Asadian ( همایون اسعدیان ), is an Iranian director, screenwriter, assistant director, planning, production and photography consultant. He began his artistic activities in 1974 with Center for Intellectual Development of Children and Adolescents and attending classes and making movies, 8 mm film. In 1978 Homayoun Asadian entered the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and began studying theater. After the Cultural Revolution he was unable to continue his studies. His professional theat ...er work began with the photographic film "High School", and he then directed his first film "Bite" in 1994. Since then Homayoun Asadian has written and produced several feature films.

Dowry for Robaab is about that Robab is from a family whose main source of income is pearl hunting. She is about to marry her cousin Kamel, but the daily quarrels between her mother and Kamel bring about discord between their families.
