Born on 11 September 1973, Tehran, Mahdavi graduated from Shahid Rajee University in 1997 with a bachelor degree. As a sound mixer and editor, Mahdavi has worked on many projects including the award-winning 'Buddha Collapsed from Shame' (2007) and 'Goodbye' (2011).
