In order to prove his innocence, Zeinal goes to the military commander who was Jahan Ara’s assistant at the beginning of the war. He risks his own position but provides Zeinal with some equipment so that he can look for the safe. Zeinal finds the safe but he first takes Yahya’s remains to his wife. At this time, Eskandar reveals that the safe contains no secret documents but gold bars. Knowing that Eskandar has his eye on the gold, Zeinal takes the safe to the mine field.
