Tradition of Lover Killing is about that Salar is a illegal woodcutter. Once, while cutting a tree, he gets arrested, his chainsaw is confiscated and he is sent to prison for one year. In his absence, his family members, Baji (wife), Jalal (son) and Majan (daughter), have to pay Mirza (the chainsaw's owner) for the chainsaw.Indeed, before his capture, Majan was set to marry a soldier, Latif, but because Baji saw him when her husband was being captured, she changed her mind about their marriage.
