Born in 1981 in Sabzevar, Iran, Kazem Mollaie holds a B.A. in Cinema Directing from Sooreh University of Tehran. He started his filmmaking career in 1999 with his short film FROM GAME TO… He is also Member of the “Iranian Young Cinema Society”, the Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds (Khaneh Cinema) and The “Iranian Short Film Association”. Since 2016, he has be appointed as Chief Editor of ISFA website. He has made a number of short and documentary films. KUPAL is his debut feature film.K
