Rasekhfar, Mahmoud (born 1956, Tehran) Mahmoud Rasekhfar studied stage acting at University of Tehran. He has mostly worked as a stage actor and has some experience in cinema and television. Rasekhfar appeared in a few movies, including ‘Under the Moonlight’ (2000), ‘Here, a Shining Light’ (2002), ‘As Simple as That’ (2007), ‘Saturday Hunter’ (2009), and ‘Yousef’ (2010). Here a Shining Light is about that A watchman of a shrine in a village, where is surrounded by the mountains, has a heart disease. Therefore, to cure his sickness, he is forced to go to the city and temporarily leave the shrine. To find his substitute, he asks the villagers to introduce someone to him, whom he can be entrusted with the responsibility of the shrine. It seems that due to some personal problems, all of them reject the responsibility. However, the truth is that those people do not have faith in that shrine anymore and they are not willing to help its watchman. The watchman is then left with no choice; thereby, he inevitably puts his feeble-minded and dreamer nephew, Ghodrat, in charge of the shrine works and leaves the village. Ghodrat, affected by his visions and dreams, acts strangely toward the shrine. He with his own naive approach, which others call it stupidity, prevents some disbelievers from stealing the antique and valuable door of the shrine. He keeps on his acts untill the villagers feel ashamed of having lost their faith in that shrine.
