Mania Akbari is a filmmaker and actress, born on the 22 September 1974 in Tehran, Iran. She started her career as a painter in 1991 and took part in various exhibitions in Iran and abroad. Akbari was exposed to film by working as a cinematographer in several documentaries. She is known for the participation as an actress in films such as 'Crystal' and '20 Fingers'.
