Amir blames Fereydoon for losing his family and for being imprisoned for six years; thus, he takes him outside the city to a remote area in order to kill him. Arad was by Amir in all of those moments of evasion and taking hostages; he gets close to him and tries to intervene. Arad makes Fereydoon promise to compensate for the past in some way. Moreover, he convinces Amir not to worsen his condition and to stay hopeful for the future.
