The Day I Became a Woman is about that The Day I Became a Woman comprised of three interconnected vignettes that depict women at three stages of life in Iran. Episode one, entitled 'Havva' concerns a young girl on the morning of her ninth birthday. Against her better wishes, she is forced to stay home, away from her best friend who has asked her to play with him, due to her mother and grandmother's proclamation that she is now a woman. Learning she was born at noon, the young girl requests one more hour to do what she wishes so she can be a girl one last time. Episode two, entitled 'Ahoo', follows a young woman who is being pursued on horseback by her stern husband, whom she is fleeing on bicycle in the midst of a women's biking race. Stray Dogs is about that A woman is unaware of his husband for five years. She thinks he has been killed so she marries another man. After a while, he returns and when he sees that his wife has married another man, complains and accuses her without even thinking about her children. The kids spend their life by beggary and selling garbage and at night they come back to their mother in prison. They save a stray baby dog , and decide to keep it. When the police finds out about the situation, they are banned from coming to prison and when they understand that prison is for keeping the criminals, they try to commit a crime; so they go for small robberies, but they are always forgiven by the people . Upon watching the "Bicycle Thieves" movie in cinema, they decide to rob a bicycle in public to be arrested. The girl is afraid to be beaten during the robbery, so his brother takes her and the dog in a safe place and promises her to introduce her as his colleague when he is arrested and beaten by people. When police arrests him, no one hears him telling about his sister in the crowd. The girl runs following the car but she is wandered among the cyclists around her. The boy is delivered to a penitentiary while he was trying to reach his mother in prison. The girl is alone and wandered, but she eventually makes a decision and takes the dog in a place telling it to stay there. The baby dog watches the girl going and some time later the voice of a boy is heard yelling "my bicycle is stolen". There are also police whistles and noise of the crowd. The baby dog is curious and begins to bark. The girl's voice who is arrested is heard harder and harder. The baby dog is alone and it barks to call the girl and her brother.
