Mitra Farahani (in Persian: میترا فراهانی) (born in 1975) is an internationally acclaimed Iranian filmmaker, working as a cinematographer, film director and writer in Cinema. Farahani graduated in graphic design from Azad University in Tehran in 1997 then emigrated to Paris where she works in performance and arts.
