Mohammad Mehdi Asgarpour (born in 1963) is an Iranian film director and writer who studied cinema at the IRIB College. He is mostly known for We Have A Guest (2014) which was screened in Pusan Film Festival in South Korea and Indonesian Balinale Filmfest. The film also competed in 2015 at the 7th Jaipur International Film Festival and the 33rd International Fajr Film Festival . The Sacred Footsteps is about that Rahman is apparently a foundling. On the contrary, he is a son of vow and his mother received him as a gift through appealing to Imam Mahdi.
