Crystal Man is about that A young man named Kamran Afshari is killed by knife during a quarrel. A young basiji named Reza Khodamardi is arrested for his murder because of his previous disagreements with Kamran. In his defense, Reza mentions that Kamran accidentally gave himself the first blow but he cannot remember anything that happened after that because he was in a trance... Reza's mother's attempts to win the consent of Kamran's parents results in vain. Kamran's sister, Niloufar, who is a doctor in Germany and was also involved in Reza Khodamardi's treatment, starts investigating her brother's death upon her return to Iran. She realizes that Kamran had become very disobedient over the last few years and was even responsible for the suicide of a young girl named Shiva. She also finds out that Kamran had deceived his parents with the help of his friends Fariba and Heshmat, pretending that he had been kidnapped, so that he could extract money from his dad and compensate for his reckless expenses. The judge and Asghar, who are friends of Reza's, become suspicious of Fariba and Heshmat and start watching them. Heshmat is in love with Fariba and insists that they go abroad, but Fariba is in love with Kamran and disagrees. She threatens to expose Heshmat as Kamran's murderer. He kills her while they are at Kamran's grave and Asghar who had followed them, arrests him.
