The Forester is about that In the early 1980s, just after the Islamic revolution, some greedy people start to cut down industrial trees in the forest just to make more money. When Rasool, the co-ranger of the region, tries to arrest them, they beat him up brutally. Golkooh, an old ranger who is about to retire, turns to the forestry department for help, but because of the government's resignation and the absence of the head of the department, he cannot get any help. Golkooh doesn't want anybody to get hurt, so he doesn't ask others for help. But the locals who are already aware of the importance of the situation, send a team to help the old ranger. A House Like a City is about that Javaad is the eldest son of his family, and regardless of his mother's objections, heads to the city to know more about the shootings. When no one hears from him until the next day's afternoon, the father also goes to the city in order to find his son. There he finds a tumbled city, all devastated and ruined. There have been battles and a group of people are injured, and amongst them is Javaad who's also been shot. Beside the Ponds is about that Seyyed marries Robab after his wife's death and returns to his village. Taher, Seyyed's son who always recalls his mother, cannot emotionally relate with his father's new wife. Robab who is not capable of having a child, does not treat Taher nicely. Seyyed loves them both but these two keep avoiding each other. One day an incident occurs and the warehouse is burned. Robab is caught in the flames. People try to rescue her, but they do not succeed. Ultimately, Taher saves her from certain death. Since then Robab and Taher realize that they both need each other's kindness.
