The Pastry Girl is about that Saeed’s and Niloofar’s marriage has been postponed for several years. The main reason for that is the personal conflicts between their parents - Mr. Saatchi and Mrs. Rostami. Now Saeed and Niloofar are getting aged, yet the time of their marriage has not been determined because of their parents’ aggressive behavior. Mr. Saatchi has hidden his son’s birth certificate to impede him from getting married and Mrs. Rostami uses her daughter as a worker in the confectionary, as if she has forgotten that she is her own daughter.
