Mahboubeh is a lonely girl who has lost her family in the war. After the war ends she visits her dad’s house which now is nothing but ruins and wreckage. She wants to repair and restore everything but Davoud, a grumpy man who is busy demining the area
... shouts at her to leave because he believes the area is not fully cleared yet. In spite of Davoud’s words, Mahboubeh decides to stay. She finds a tank buried under the ruins in the house and decides to sell it so she walks into the tank graveyard nearby and talks to the Afghan guy named Jom’eh. After a while, Davoud and Jom’eh both develop feelings for Mahboubeh. In order to prevent further quarrels between them, she decides to marry Jom’eh and he in return helps her sell the tank to the Iraqis. But before that, they decorate the tank as their wedding vehicle. When Davoud tries to intervene he gets into a fight with Jom’eh and they totally forget about the moving tank, so it collapses with Davoud’s house and a stream of water springs out. Davoud had told about this stream of water to Mahboubeh before and had claimed that it was there a long time ago but had gone dry, but Mahboubeh never believed him. This may be the beginning of a new chapter for them…
